I am a Certified Fitness Trainer by the International Sports Sciences Association. My main area of interest is in Corrective and Functional Training. I am also certified to train people with lower back pain and pregnant & post-partum women.
I have been actively involved in the health and fitness industry since 2006, started off as a Fitness Trainer at Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TAR College), during that time I was still a student pursuing my Diploma in Social Science at TARC.
After graduating from TAR College with a Diploma in Social Science in 2008, I was attached to a well known fitness chain in South East Asia for a short period of time before I decided to work independently out of gyms while pursuing my BA (Hons) Psychology at UCSI University. Despite being a psychology major student, the only time I opened my psychology textbook was to complete my assignments and perhaps 12 hours before my final exams. Due to my strong interest in exercise science and particularly in corrective and functional training, I spent most of my time reading and researching on them in order for me to help my clients train and get better.
I always believe that health and fitness is to be sustained as a lifestyle. I come from an athletic background since high school. And today as a fitness professional who walks the talk, I understand what it takes to empower you to achieve your fitness goals and most importantly sustain it- you name it, I can make it happen for YOU!
